When it comes to Window Tinting

Like any of the other Window Film Companies on the market the manufacture window film from, Dyed window film, metal base window film, to carbon and ceramic window films.
Things to know about dyed window film. Dyed window film it typically the film that is more susceptible to turning purple and possibly bubbling depending on the install procedure by the window tint installer. SunTek, Madico, and 3M carry a 3 to 5 year limited warranty on dyed window tint film. High Performance, Carbon, CXP, Ceramic type films carry Life Time warranties and do not fade, do not turn purple, do not bubble. So, when you call for a window tint quote generally your first price will be dyed window film pricing at all the other shops in town. At Precision Auto Detail and Window Tint we DO NOT CARRY DYED WINDOW FILM. We only deliver quality that last.

Texas Window Tint Laws
Car window tinting laws in Texas were enacted in 2009. We have provided all the necessary information about your car's window tint, including how dark or reflective the tint is allowed in your state. There are also additional car window tinting rules and regulations in Texas so make sure you read all about it below.
Window tint darkness in Texas The percent of visible light allowed through your car windows is called VLT: Visible Light Transmission. The percentage of light allowed through your film and glass in Texas is very specific and different for sedan cars and SUV cars or vans.
Tint darkness for sedans:
Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
Front Side windows: Must allow more than 25% of light in.
Back Side windows: Any darkness can be used.
Rear Window: Any darkness can be used.
Tint darkness for SUV and vans:
Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
